In Normal game mode, there is no traditional scoring system, but you will receive a brief statistics summary at the end of the game. For each task, it matters how long it took you to solve it, how many attempts you needed to find the correct answer, and how many hints you used. At the end of the game, you will see how your performance compares to all previous Landventure teams.
In Team building and Class activity game modes, you can request a leaderboard showing team rankings, total scores, and additional details. After selecting the mission and game mode, add the Leaderboard extra to your purchase. After the game, once all teams have finished, click the “Results” button to see who performed the best.
It’s worth noting that while speed is important, performance is not based on time alone, so there’s no need to rush. The number of hints used, incorrect answers submitted, and other factors are also taken into account.

For the entire mission, it does not - but per puzzle, it does. That means that between two puzzles you can go for lunch, have a drink, or even take a break for a few days, but once you start a puzzle, the time it takes to complete that specific puzzle will count.

No problem, each puzzle offers three hints. The first two only help you with the clues, and the third hint is the solution itself.
It's not a must, but it is helpful during the game. You can access the map by pulling up the tools menu, and with GPS enabled you'll see exactly where you are and where you need to search for clues.
This depends heavily on the kind of phone you have, but you don't need to run an application and it doesn't use the resources of your phone - so this means that the game counts as browsing time.
No worries! You can continue the game on another phone (by entering the same game code) and you can continue from where you left off. If you don’t have another phone at hand, just charge it, easily get back to the game, and continue from there.
Of course, every mystery can be solved even after dark, but searching for objects can add some extra excitement and an additional challenge. The “environmental objects” used to solve the puzzles are illuminated by building lights and street lamps, but it may take more time to find things, reading can be a bit more difficult, or you might need to use your phone’s flashlight. You can pause the game at any time, so if you realize this isn’t quite for you, you can always continue in daylight.
On each mission card or page, you can find the recommended minimum age for children to participate with adult supervision.
